Welcome to Kasera. By using the Kasera mobile application or the kasera.app website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. About Kasera
Kasera is a meal planning application that helps families plan meals, manage pantry inventory, generate grocery lists, and reduce food waste. Kasera is under active development and features described in these Terms may be introduced over time.
2. Accounts
To use Kasera, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
3. Household accounts
Kasera supports household accounts with multiple members. You are responsible for managing who has access to your household.
Important: Allergy and dietary information
Kasera provides meal suggestions and includes allergy reminders to help you manage your household dietary needs. However, Kasera does not guarantee that meal suggestions are free from allergens. Meal plans are suggestions only and may contain errors or ingredients that could trigger allergic reactions. You must always review all ingredients before preparing any meal, especially when cooking for family members with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
4. Meal suggestions and AI-generated content
Kasera may use artificial intelligence to generate meal plans, recipe suggestions, and grocery lists. You acknowledge that AI-generated meal suggestions may contain inaccuracies, are not medical advice, and you are solely responsible for verifying that any meal is safe for your household.
5. Grocery ordering
Kasera may provide the option to send your grocery list to third-party services such as Instacart, Walmart, Amazon Fresh, and Kroger. When you choose to order through a partner, you are entering into a transaction with that partner, not with Kasera.
6. Your data and privacy
Your use of Kasera is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We never sell or share your data with advertisers. Calendar data never leaves your device.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the Service, reverse engineer any part of the Service, develop a competing product, or share your credentials with anyone outside your household.
8. Intellectual property
The Kasera name, logo, design, and all associated visual elements are the property of Kasera. Meal suggestions and recipes provided through the Service are not claimed as our exclusive intellectual property.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind. Kasera does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kasera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, any allergic reaction or injury from following meal suggestions, errors in AI-generated content, unauthorized access to your data, or third-party grocery ordering transactions.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kasera and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Subscription and payments
Kasera may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Subscription details, pricing, and cancellation terms will be presented before purchase and are subject to the applicable app store terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@kasera.app. Kasera may suspend or terminate your access at any time.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Virginia.
